Your Password will expire after 90 days. When it has expired after 90 days and you log in with your old Password you will be presented with a screen where you must change your Password.
If you are still having trouble logging in, send an email with your full name, date of birth, and a description of the problem to customercare@hesaa.org.

IMPORTANT: AFTER FIVE FAILED ATTEMPTS TO LOG IN WITHIN 60 MINUTES, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE LOCKED. After 24 hours your account will be unlocked and you can try again. If you do not remember your login credentials, CLICK HERE.

MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION-MFA

Coming this fall, HESAA will require all students to use multi factor authentication (MFA) when accessing NJFAMS. Once MFA becomes available, students will be prompted to complete a quick setup immediately after logging into their accounts. A setup screen will walk the student through four simple steps to enable MFA. The student must complete these steps before they can continue to the NJFAMS home page.

Adding MFA is fast and significantly increases the security of the student’s account. Even if someone obtains the student’s password, they will still need a second verification step—such as a code sent to the student’s phone—to log into the account. This extra layer of protection greatly reduces the risk of unauthorized access. We’re implementing MFA because ensuring the security of your account and information is a top priority.
